Mayakobá Signature Ritual Inspired by the magic of the Mayan calendar, this truly unforgettable treatment is the perfect fusion of centuries-old knowledge, traditional healing arts and local herbs. Temazcal Ritual This indigenous ritual connects you with your internal being—a circle of fire, an offering of love, worship and chants to Nature and the universe. The Temazcal treatment is a union with the elements of life, with aromas that wake up ancestral memory and guide you back to the womb of Mother Nature. This purifying steam bath is based on traditional Mayan healing methods. The Temazcal is a small domed structure built to hold in the warmth of hot stones which have been heated in an exterior fire and then placed in a central pit in the ground. The steam is produced by water infused with herbs. It is a fusion of the virgin energy of volcanic rock to purify, cure, revitalize and balance you. 1 hr., $170

Mayakobá Complete Body Therapy Enlighten your soul and restore the equilibrium within you with this blissful therapy. While you experience the power of the local herbs and scents, your body will benefit from ingredients designed to refine and rejuvenate skin texture through exfoliation, nourishment and the stimulation of circulation, infusing your skin with vitamins. 1.5 hrs., $185

Body Revitalization After exfoliation, the body is pampered with a nourishing, hydrating wrap that will leave you feeling revitalized and rejuvenated. Detox The body is scrubbed and wrapped in mud or salt to achieve maximum healing and relaxation. This cleansing and strengthening wrap is used to activate the blood and lymph circulation and to decongest and nourish the skin and body. 1.5 hrs., $175

Drench/Hydrating This treatment is a combination of therapies designed to soothe, regenerate and rehydrate your body. Beginning with a light exfoliation of the entire body, followed by a nourishing wrap, the therapist lightly massages the muscles with soothing aroma oil. Toning/Body Firming A detoxifying blend of aroma oils and marine minerals detoxifies and deep cleanses the body inside and out. Let your thoughts drift away while you are cocooned in a comforting wrap and treated to a pressure point facial massage and de-stress scalp treatment. Mayakobá Ancient Massage A truly sublime and unforgettable spa experience, the Ancient Massage incorporates the Mayan tradition of aligning the energies of the body in rhythmic harmony. Blissful Basics

Hands Give your hands the attention they deserve; spoil them with care and love. Our manicures are designed to nourish and pamper your hands and nails with a hand soak and exfoliation, nail maintenance, a hydrating mask and a relaxing hand massage. A ritual that will leave your hands soft and beautiful.

Feet Your feet work hard for you. Give them something back with a soothing pedicure. Sit back and relax as the hands of professionals tend to the needs of your feet. Your feet will be delicately bathed in aromatic essence and elixirs. Attention will not only be given to the nails and cuticles; your feet and lower legs will be exfoliated and pampered with a heavenly foot massage.

Depilation/Wax Available for lip, eyebrow, chin, back, underarm, leg and bikini.

Hair Complete and professional hair care. Cutting, setting, blow-waving and styling for special occasions.

Make-Up Choose from our Finishing Touch Make-up, the perfect way to look great with just the right amount of make-up (30 mins.), or the Complete Makeover, the professional make-up for special events (1 hr.). All of our applications include complete color consultation for skin tone and hair color as well as fashion to complement the outfit chosen for the occasion.

Yoga Whether you are a novice or practice yoga on a regular basis, our yoga instructors can design a yoga session focused on your skill level and interests. At the conclusion of your session, your trainer will provide you with a customized program to help you continue your progress in the future.

Spa Etiquette & Policies

Arrivals Treatments are carefully planned to accommodate each and every client. In a spirit of mutual respect, we kindly request that you arrive on time. We encourage you to arrive at least an hour prior to your appointment to enjoy the exclusive facilities and to have consultation time with your therapist. Late arrivals will be finished within the scheduled treatment time while the fee will remain unchanged.

Cancellations Please allow 12 hours notice for cancellation or rescheduling of treatment to avoid a 100% charge.

Children Young adults over the age of 16 are welcome to visit the spa or fitness center.

Etiquette Our spa environment is one of tranquility and relaxation. In consideration to other spa guests, please switch off mobile phones and respect the non-smoking zone.

Health Please assist us by informing us of any allergies or injuries that may make the treatment you have chosen unsuitable. We will be happy to advise safer alternatives.

In-Suite Treatments The spa offers in-suite massages. A surcharge of 15% will apply for any in-suite treatment.

Jewelry We recommend that no jewelry be worn to the spa. Management accepts no responsibility for the loss of valuables brought onto the spa premises.

Pregnancy We have specially designed treatments for expectant mothers. Please allow us to assist you in selecting suitable treatments for this special time.

Spa Amenities On arrival you will be supplied with a luxurious bathrobe and sandals as well as a locker for your clothing and personal belongings. You will also find ample soft cotton towels throughout the spa area. Upon request, we will provide additional spa amenities such as deodorants, mouthwash, sanitary napkins, hair styling products and a touch of make-up. Discreet disposable underwear is provided for all body treatments.

Spa & Fitness Hours All guests have complimentary access to the resort’s state-of-the-art spa and fitness facilities from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily. These facilities include a heated pool, cenote, fully equipped gym, juice bar, sauna and steam room, Jacuzzi and plunge pool, relaxation areas and the Itzamná café. Spa face and body treatments are available from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Blissful Basics are available from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. However, we will always attempt to accommodate in-house guests that require a treatment outside of these hours, provided we have sufficient notice. We recommend scheduling treatments well in advance to ensure availability and preferred appointment times.

Groups Please note that pre-booking for all treatments is essential. Group bookings are classified as treatments booked for four or more guests and need to be made a minimum of seven days in advance Cancellations need to be made a minimum of four days prior to appointments booked. Cancellations made within 96 hours of treatments or no arrival on the day will incur full cancellation charges. Credit card details are required to guarantee treatment bookings. Full payment for group bookings needs to be made upon confirmation of booking. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to scheduled appointments; late arrivals will be finished within the scheduled treatment time while the fee will remain unchanged.
